如何毕业
毕业不是自动的. If you are earning a degree or certificate, you 必须 申请毕业.
第一步:为毕业做准备
Schedule an appointment to 与某人见面 辅导员 to develop your educational plan for the specific degree, certificate, and/or general education pattern you are pursuing. 学生s can meet with their 辅导员 in bgi的, 需求方, 星形三, or 综合谘询处.
If you have attended a college or university outside of the San Diego Community College District, please review the steps to submit and evaluate transcripts prior to applying for graduation.
第二步:申请毕业
学生s may apply for graduation 1 to 2 semesters in advance as long as they will complete requirements by the end of the semester.
- 应用 for graduation though your MySDCCD门户. 在“我的学者" -> "申请毕业". Be sure to click submit at the end!
- Please note that if you do not see your degree and/or certificate displayed, please 与某人见面 辅导员.
- View your graduation status under "我的学者" -> "查看毕业状态".
春天 & Summer 2024 applications open November 6, 2023.
Fall 2024 applications open April 29, 2024.
Deadlines to apply for graduation 每年都不一样. 所有 最后期限是最后期限.
Step 3: RSVP to the Graduate 毕业典礼
- 您参与的 毕业典礼 is 可选 for you to receive your degree or certificate.
- 学生s who have applied for graduation within the academic year will receive an email invitation to the ceremony, including the link to RSVP.
- 你 必须 RSVP if you wish participate in the 毕业典礼.
- Note: Participation in the ceremony 不 guarantee your application for graduation will be approved.
- If you need assistance, contact the Mesa 评估 Office at mesaevaluations@sdccd.edu with your name and student User ID number.
Step 4: 收到 your diploma in the mail
你 will not receive your diploma at the 毕业典礼.
Diplomas for summer, fall, and spring graduates are mailed directly to the students
after ALL coursework requirements for your degree or certificate are completed successfully.
- 所有 financial holds 必须 be cleared on your student account before your diploma can 是寄.
- Diplomas are mailed to the address listed on mySDCCD typically 8 weeks after the end of the semester. When will I receive my diploma?
- Make sure your mailing address and email is up to date. 你可以更新你的邮件 地址 mySDCCD. Information updated after applying for graduation should be emailed to Mesa 评估.
- Degrees and/or Certificates of Achievements will be posted on official transcripts 在接下来的几个月里:
- Fall Graduates: End of January

- Summer Graduates: End of September
以优异成绩毕业
毕业 with honors distinction is based upon all coursework that is associate degree and lower division baccalaureate degree applicable or coursework applicable to the certificate of achievement. If eligible, an honors notation is placed on the student's official transcript and diploma.
- 荣誉 is granted to students who achieve an overall 3.5平均绩点.
- 优异的成绩 is granted to students who achieve an overall 3.75年平均绩点.
- 最高荣誉 is granted to students who achieve an overall 4.0的绩点.
副学士荣誉, 3.5-4.GPA:金流苏，金线
Certificate of Achievement 荣誉, 3.5-4.0: GPA White Tassel, White Cord.

学生s who maintain continuous enrollment may choose to graduate under the college catalog in effect at the time they began their studies in a California Community College, California State University, or University of California campus, or under the catalog in effect at the time of graduation.
Continuous enrollment is defined as attendance in one semester or two quarters (excluding summer) within a calendar year in the CSU, UC, or California Community College System.
Certification of a student's completion of CSU general education requirements or the Intersegmental General Education 转移 Curriculum (IGETC) is not a graduation requirement. Therefore, students do not have catalog rights to a certification pattern used by a certifying institution or a CSU or UC campus.
